As far as I can tell...with my very biased, and limited knowlege in the area, higher revs = .....

Well, hell. I don't know?! I can't think of ANY advantages...Higher chances of failure and wear. Terrible gas mileage. Strain, god awful noise (imo), and you have to wait for those 8 thousand revs to come...

I'm at a loss.
