I guess I'm one of the few that likes the Chase format. I didn't start watching NASCAR until after the Chase format was implemented. I like the idea of a playoff type of system. Admittedly it sucks for a team who has one bad race in the Chase because it effectively knocks them out of contention. But that's no different than football.
