Hahaha! The Scout Platoon Leader's course was no joke, the NCO's smoked our bags.
It all paid off, though, I took my scout platoon to Korea for an Operation Foal Eagle exercise and we kicked ass. Did a dismounted infiltration of the enemy's main defensive belt (around the Twin Bridges training area) and called in every enemy position - the battalion ran through the ROKs like $*&% through a goose! Some of my scouts didn't like humping up and down those mountains though, it was an ass kicker.
