I couldn't agree more. Every game these days, whether it's Call of Duty, Battlefield, Halo, etc. is all about competition. I can hold my own in every one of those games, but that pure competition mentality everyone has just completely ruins the experience for that game, in my opinion. Whatever happened to playing these games just to have fun, instead of obsessing over ranks and playing them to be on the top of a leaderboard?

Part of the reason I've been enjoying Planetside 2 so much lately
But playing Halo 4 with my buddies brings back memories of the Halo 1 days in high school, we've been havin good times so far.
