Went to the hanger at Vintage Wings of Canada Saturday morning for the AGM. While waiting for the meeting to get started I snapped a few pics of the winter work getting underway on several of the aircraft as well as the ongoing restoration of the Hurricane Mk XII and Spitfire Mk IX.

The Harvard's engine has been sent out for overhaul.

The Tiger Moth's engine has been sent out for overhaul.

The Swordfish parts will come in: new valve seats, new valve springs, new valves, new pistons, (and our friends at Standard Aero in Winnipeg have retooled the cylinders).

The left cylinder bank is off the Mk IV Hurricane.

The incredible Hurricane Mk IX rebuild.

The restored Hurricane Mk IX wings waiting to be mounted.

The new wings being built for the Spitfire Mk IX.
