I don't even want to talk about Pontiac.
Well, luckily they really stepped up the game with the Aveo-up to 108 hp. Who needs a Camaro when a beast like this is available?

Dude get a grip. Not every car needs the most horsepower in the world. The base engine in the CTS used to be the non-DI 3.6 which made about as much horsepower (though less torque) as the new DI 3.0L, but the new engine is more efficient. More MPG for similar power? Win-win. Size isn't everything. The 3.0L and 3.6L DI engines are pretty comparable and competitive with equivalent engines in BMW and Mercedes models. Where's the problem? And what the hell is wrong with the Aveo's power? Its an econobox. No one buys them for the performance. It too is competitive on power with its competitors, and no one cares about performance in that class anyway. Now that's not to say the Aveo isn't crappy - it is, and the Fit destroys it and the Fiesta soon will. Still, the power isn't the thing to be pissed about.
