This was my first year riding a motorcycle on a regular basis, and I learned do be EXTREMELY defensive while riding, which then carried over to driving on days I couldn't ride. If it looks like someone is about to pull out in front of me, I usually flash my lights a couple times, slow down, honk the horn, and then if they see me and stop I'll speed up and get out of there, otherwise I'm fully prepared to stop before I have to take evasive action. Always assume everyone else is an idiot on the road

That being said, totally agree that some of these elderly simply do NOT have the reaction time necessary to drive safely.
