I think r-rocket above has it. Costcos, Walmart are high alert areas and I have been ditched, cut off or near miss before by drivers of all ages. Like on a cell and rolling a stop sign while looking right at you...
If you know drivers that need to not be driving (fender dents, lost etc), one get their eyes checked. If that does not fix it, then the best is to have the family doctor tell them to stop driving. Takes the heat off the family.
For those ragging the elderly, you too may be there someday and your wheels are your independence. Real tuff to give up the joy and independence of a good ride.
