This explains a lot - those with a passion for weather tend to get excited and exaggerate whenever a storm comes through. Now if you excuse me I'm going to lay in the bathtub with my shock blanket, 6 cases of water, 4 gallons of milk, 3 loaves of bread and 2 generators and pray that I live through this one.
