Air Force 28 Univ of New Mexico (my Alma mater) 23. I played D line for the Lobos back in the early 80s.
It was an ugly win vs a vastly improved NM team with ex Notre Dame head coach now in charge.
AF was without the nations 2nd leading rusher Cody Getz but managed to get the "W" We are now 4-3 and 2nd in the MWC. My son had 8 tackles....if you counted his 6 arm tackles
he would have more but arm tackles dont do crap to stop a big D1 back.
NM ran a pretty confusing offense with multiple fakes. I found myself following a ghost RB many times when the real ball carrier was taking off away from the real play. Unfortunately the AF defense felt the same way:( The stopped them when it counted. 14 of NM points came off our offensive turnovers.

Sure its not SC v Florida, or Michigan v Michigan State (we played Michigan pretty damn well BTW) but its still D1 football!!!!! His mom and I are damn proud!
