Are they functional? If they're not functional, I don't care that they're original equipment from a first gen or whatever...non-functional vents are rice, plain and simple.
When something ricey is OEM, that mitigates its ricerity but does not completely make it non-rice. The gills on the new Camaro are rice that I'd easily accept as part of a great car.
