Are the engines on our cars or any GM car much different these days? Other than the Corvette, it seems like GM's solution to all their engines these days is... cover them up. My buddies CTS-V is a great example of this. The whole engine compartment is nothing but plastic covers everywhere. I don't know about anyone else, but I would prefer to see more of the engine. If GM at least incorporated the intake runners between the cover like they do on the Corvette I would be happier. Ford even does something similar on the new 5 liter.
