I've wanted a 5th gen camaro ever since they were hinted at being brought back. I had an 84 Z28 that i just fell in love with about 7 years ago and had to sell it about 2 years ago.
About a month ago my wife and i were at a Toyota dealership looking to get her a car with better gas mileage and to trade in her truck. The salesman was obviously not paying attention to what we were talking about and for some reason he went off to get a Subaru when we told him that we wanted a new car. we waited for about 10 minutes and realized that he ditched us, which sucks because my wife wanted to test drive a new Rav4.
So i said let's go to another dealership and forget this one. We were bored and she said i should go test drive a new Camaro. I had been putting it off because i knew if i loved it i wouldn't be able to afford it, and if i hated it i would be crushed. But i said what the hell and we headed to the nearest chevy dealership. Test drove a 2013 2LT/RS and a 2012 SS Convertible. Fell in love with the 2013, but felt like we just couldn't afford it.
My wife then actually teamed up with the sales guy and they finally convinced me to get the car. I swear, she should have got some of the commission lol. She makes most of our money, so this is my 30th birthday present from her!
So here she is, my 2013 Camaro 2LT/RS in Blue Ray Metallic with sun/moon roof, and the pictures do not do the paint justice, i absolutely love the color
