When my mom remarried I was introduced into cars, hell anything with a motor. My Step dad and I didn't always get along but as we got older and I more mature I began to understand he love for American Muscle.
I remember he had Pics of a 57 Corvette he had in his youth that at one time held an NHRA world record set at the Pomona speed way. He never left his cars alone. Not one. I can't think of a single car he drove that was Stock...
From there I began to love 55 and 57 Chevy's.
Then, when I was about 13, I saw a 61 Corvette at a car show and that was when I was hooked. I remember thinking, "No car should be that cool."
In my opinion the most beautiful factory car ever built.
Since then My family has had one vette and two camaros, among many others. But it wasn't until I built my truck with my Step dad that I really knew what it meant to be a car guy... I designed it, I ordered the parts, my Step dad and I installed them, I worked with the painter and I drove it every day that I owned. it... I really miss that truck.
I can't wait to start my Camaro5 project... Just cant' wait.
