You know that is actually a fair point I hadn't considered. I'm sure that is certainly part of it, I'm curious now how much though. I really can't think of any other Japanese cars that had nearly a 40% increase in MSRP over the same time like the GT-R has. Of course the GT-R has also seen quite a few improvements since 2008 as well.
