They could rebrand those as a Chevy (or even a Buick or Cadillac) like Dodge did with the Neon. When the Neon came out, both Plymouth and Dodge had them. Those were the final days for Plymouth so they were grasping for anything back then.
Now it is "rumored" that Chrysler/Dodge will end the Challenger in place of a "Cuda", short for Barracuda, which by the way, was a Plymouth product.
I actually liked the looks of the Saturn Sky better than the Pontiac Solstice, think it was the best looking Saturn product, ever. I have never bothered looking it up, but both must have been produced on the same assy. line with similar parts in their bill of materials (BOM). Originally the Saturn was to be the Japanese small car buster, "a different car from a different company for a different person"......
