Hmmmm...resulted in about $1800 in extra trade in value...you can call it what you want, but I call it low mileage for that reason.

Already ordered the first mod...Vararam. Looking at exhaust since I miss the decel pop.

I know some will not believe this and I guess I don't care, but I got more in trade than I paid for the Camaro. I had $4500 in incentives and discounts. They gave me $30k in trade and after incentives and discounts, I paid $29.5K for the Camaro. The Vette was at $33.5K and I paid 31.5. The retail value on the Vette was actually $500 more than the current retail value of a used 2012 Camaro. Plus, the Vette has reached a reasonable plateau in depreciation and the Camaro is just starting.

There's no way I could ever afford a new Vette. This is my 5th and all were used...none of them gave me any trouble except some with the recall on the steering wheel lock on the 2002.

It's an auto with 2:53 gears???? Hard to believe that when it pulls like it does. First gear ratio is much lower than the stick and surely that makes the difference. Butt dyno says 12.7@112-113...maybe better.

If you want to keep it stealthy, a complete (exhaust manifold to muffler) C6 Z06/ZR1 exhaust is a big bang for the buck, plus you get the bi-mode muffler setup as a bonus. This also keeps the OEM appearance.

3.42 rear gear (Z06/ZR1) will also wake the car up quite a bit.

If it's an auto, a change to 2800-3600 stall has a dramatic affect on acceleration, while still keeping the lockup for highway cruising.

Switching to a two piece rotor and high perf brake setup, PFADT sways, and performance shocks or coilovers, will turn you into a corner burner...and pull some weight out of the car as well.
I hadn't considered the Z06 exhaust...there are several on eBay. Were they all the dual mode? Wouldn't that require some wiring mods? You obviously know what you're talking about, so I will consider these options...thanks. By the way, I didn't get this kind of feedback on the Corvette forums...they seem "unfriendly" over there...
