I was at an airport doing QA/QC for a new taxiway. The FAA grounded all flights, so I was forced to leave the confines. I also removed my children from school because I didn't know the full scope of the attack and I wanted them with me if things got worse. Later in the afternoon, I had my children come outside and look up in the sky and then tell me what they saw. And, of course, they said they saw nothing. Which was correct because all flights were grounded. I then told them that a sky empty of aircraft/contrails may never happen again in their lifetime. Let's hope..........
