I used to live about 4-5 miles from Whidbey NAS near the golf course. We'd get Prowlers coming overhead all the time. When the Blue Angels performed up there, they would go overhead as well, sometimes less than 500 feet off the deck. Couldn't watch the whole show from there, but was always cool to see them up close like that
