I saw this car online, and since I am building an LS1 I am intrigued. I want a functional shaker on my 79 Trans Am. My thoughts were that I could run an LS6 intake and build an air box over the motor, under the shaker.

However this seems better.

So here is where my question comes in.
If I were to buy the GMPP carb intake with bosses for EFI injectors,

Could I run stock LS1 injectors and fuel rails, and make an adapter to mount the stock LS1 Throttle body on the 4 barrel intake? I know I would have some issues like getting the cable through the shaker air cleaner housing.

I basically want the car to function like what a factory ls1 would, but I want it to have the carb'd intake.
