If you're in the EV market, aka looking to buy an EV, then Volt is worth every penny compared to its competitors.
And honestly, unless you're driving something that gets absolutely abysmal fuel economy, does it make sense to buy ANY brand new car at all to save on gas once you factor in purchase cost, maintenance cost, etc?

Maybe, but while we are on the subject, the back seat in my Camaro is not very comfortable and the trunk space is kind of small...
