I have owned over 100 cars in my lifetime. Each of them had bits and pieces of the accolades you espoused of in your post. None of them had all.
My honest opinion? My 1989 Mustang LX was the best bang for the buck. $12k (fairly inexpensive for the time) got you 225hp (14 second car), good looks for the era, A/C, power windows/locks, a sunroof, and a set of Eagle GT tires. I believe Motor Trend touted it as best bang for the buck that year.
Anyway, my 2SS has impressive features for sure. But it fails in many areas, too.
