I think that we need to remember that Congress represents the most marketable people that can afford to run for office. In other words, they aren't the best or the brightest. They are among the wealthiest and among the most easy to sell personalities that can win in competitive campaigns. When considering that they could be as dumb or dumber than any of us, you have to open the possibility that they don't know what they are debating, and they probably will make some arguments that don't make any sense. I think the GM is going to be responsible for their products. It's hard to shake off that responsibility in any situation.

By the way, you can sue the government. Democracy is a brilliant thing.
