Let me start out by saying I'm a old guy, 62 yrs. old. I'm a grain farmer (corn and soybeans). I've been farming since I was a kid. Also I've always been a "gearhead". I have a Buick GN that I've had for 21 yrs. and runs E85, bolt on mods and runs 11.20s@119mph. I can drive it anywhere as long as I can find E85. My son races a IMCA A mod on dirt(650 hp and 2450 weight. He's a hell of a driver and does all his own work I love watching him, no way am I getting in that thing!
Anyway, I bought a 2011 SS with a KB supercharger(previous owner installed it, 3700 miles). It runs great but I know there's more in it and still be reliable and streetable. I got a heck of a deal on it because of the voided warranty. I'm planning on going a little nuts on it(mods) so this site great for learning the do's and don'ts.
Thanks guys for letting me hang out and I'm looking forward to learning about my SS from you youngsters.
