If you really think the Marines will be a career and you want to retire after 20, go in as an officer. And that has nothing to do with the myth that officers have it better, cus they don't. The bottom line is they make more money. They have more responsibility for sure. But you will set your self up nicely for a second career after you retire with an education and a hefty retirement check. Just a thought.

You won't be dissapointed either way. But Finish your degree. Whether you do it on active duty or before you go.
