There's probably a good number of people making around 100,000 household, married or single, that have no kids and either a cheap mortgage or a paid-off house. I know a lot of married couples in the 30s-40s range that would fit that description pretty close (probably a little less income), but they both drive newer vehicles and just do not want kids period.
So if their only car payment is on the GTR, I can definitely see that.
