US Army Retired
I am US Army Retired. I retired as LTC after 23 years. I was in the Active Amry(4 years), California Army National Guard(10 years) and US Army Reserve(9 years) I was a Lt in the Field Artillery and flew Helicopters in Vietnam from June 1969-June 1970. When I came back to Fort Rucker, AL, I flew OH-13's teaching students how to fly on instruments only. When I joined the California Army National Guard I changed Branchs to Medical Service and I flew Medevac Missions at Fort Irwin and Camp Roberts. In the Army Reserves I continued my military education at Command and Staff College, and then worked as a Medical Services Administration Officer at Fort Ord, CA, till it was closed down. I always enjoyed flying Helicopters in the Military.
