Even when I owned one (from 2005-2010) I wished my 2005 Impala SS had been RWD but even though it was FWD and only a 6-cyl, it came from the factory with a supercharger and with some bolt ons (exhaust, intercooler, smaller pulley, 1.9 rockers, tune, etc) it put out 300+ hp and ran 13.5 in the 1/4. Beat some 95-96 LT1 Imp SS's at the track (but then again got beat by a couple with major bolt-ons also). I liked the car at the time but like my 2010 Camaro SS WAAAAAY better.
