Dodge leaving NASCAR? I think it is actually the other way around....NASCAR leaving Dodge. All their teams dumped them and switched to other manufacturers. I think Penske may have been the last one. With them switching, Dodge is out not by choice, but by default.

While I am with you in not liking Toyota in NASCAR, I can't help but point out the irony that of the four "brands" (Camry, Fusion, Impala, Charger), the Toyota is the only one built in the US (and has the highest US part content by far), while the others are either Mexico or Canada. If the point is only to allow American built brands in, it could technically be argued that Toyota is the only one meeting the criteria, while Ford, Chevy, and Dodge do not.
