One day I was watching and this rich girl that was wanting Todd to marry her was driving the original Mako Shark concept car. I looked over in my diecast cabinet and said to my wife "hey I have 3 diecasts of that car" I have 2 1:24 and 1 1:18 scale diecasts of it. I think it originally aired in 1961, 2 years before the Stingray came out.

About 20 years ago I knew a guy who was co-owner of a Mako Shark (body; he and his brother built a Corvette chassis for it. Theirs was a very illegal vehicle re: DOT safety). I worked with him. He snuck it out once and drove it to work.
