I'm still pretty motivated with the workouts, and I "think" I'm sleeping well. I don't wake up a lot or anything like that. It's just like my body is starting to hurt in certain places Guess I gotta start to accept I'm not 25 anymore.

I don't think I can take a week off, but I'm skipping Crossfit tonight to give some time to recover. I'll see what happens.
When I went to gain weight last winter, that first 10 pounds came really really easy. Even easier for you since you've been low carb for so long. I would suspect your next 10 will be a little tougher, but I could be wrong.

How many hours are you sleeping in a night? And do you wake up often? I never lacked motivation necessarily on the couple of occasions I think I overtrained, but my enthusiasm about going to the gym definitely dropped. Muscle recovery was definitely a big deal, and I felt pretty exhausted most days. I also notice strains and the like come more often. Kind of feel like constant muscle tension. Not "painful", but definitely not comfortable.

Anyway, when I first started last year, I gained weight back at only 3000 calories a day. But after about 6 pounds or so (which happened in the first month), I just stalled. I had to make an effort to eat much bigger. And not by like another couple hundred calories. I had to bump up to almost 4000 a day for some reason.
