It will NEVER be completely private again. The UAW now owns a huge chunk. Even if the gov sells it's piece that will leave the UAW as the largest single shareholder and therefore the 800 lb gorilla in determining the direction of the company. Why would a union sell it's management to someone else? This is the union's dream.
They can now negotiate with themselves over their contracts ....
