Yes and no
In 1970, you could by a "Chevelle" wagon, four door. Went by names like Concours, Greenbrier, and Nomad.
Eight cylinder engines were offered.
I am not a vintage Chevy muscle guy, but I know for a fact that Oldsmobile 442 wagons were ordered and delivered during this time. Berejik Olds used to enter one in shows around here.
If a savvy buyer ticked the right boxes, the equivalent of a Chevelle SS wagon could be had in 1970, I'm sure, and they would have been four door cars
