Well I was driving back home (NW Oklahoma) on Saturday from where I work (SE of Austin).....about a 9hr drive. It was an awesome nice day, so naturally I was hoping to see some new Camaros out on the road. It wasn't even ten minutes into my drive and saw a black one headed East on Highway 71 towards Bastrop....I knew it was going to be a good drive.
A friend of mine left about an hour before I did. He would call me and tell me of one here.....and one there that he saw.....of course I hadn't seen any more for a few hours.
Well, I crossed the Red River(Ok/Tx border) and there's a huge casino off of exit 1.....I pass the exit and before I pass by the casino I see some cars off in a grassy area, and one was really catching my eye in the sun....yep it was an IOM SS!
Damn!.....I had to go 5 miles to the next exit just to turn around. By the time I was on the access road approaching the Camaro I look back to the left...(I 35N) and see a yellow one with ground effects being trailered north.....wow this drive just got a little better!
I got to the Camaro and checked it out....it was the first IOM I'd seen in person....and in the sun no less.
It looked sweet, but it wasn't a RS...I was wanting to check out the midnight silver wheels in person.
There was also a huge carshow going on at the casino....
......so my drive just got a little longer, but that's OK with me....for a car show! I only had my iPhone with me, but I was still clicking pictures left and right.....I figured you guys could use some "eye candy"! Enjoy
