I was a mustang owner and had a 2011 5.0, it was fast, faster than my SS, but not as defined. You can always take the 6.2 and with light mods become sicker than the stang. Ford did do a fantastic job with the 5.0 so lets put credit where it is deserved. Chevy has the Camaro but see if you can get all those standard goodies on a base 5.0 verses a base SS. dollar for dollar the Camaro is better. anyway my SS 4.6s 0-60, 5.0 4.5s 0-60 who cares?
