As for keeping the flowmaster.. it's almost too much fuss at this point man. You'd probably have to have those parts custom bent and fitted to the flowmaster to make a complete 3" kit.
Which may mean actually picking up an LS/LT1 Flowmaster jug with 3" inputs for the piping.  I know my outs from over the axle are 2.5 to the tip which expands back out to 3" with a resonated lip.
