No matter who the buyer of the vehicles were (I'm sure the government wasn't the "biggest buyer" as described), Chevy had a great quarter and that's something to be happy about. Great sales means better products. The higher the stock price goes, the better chance the US government recoups their money from the Federal Loans (not a bailout since it's being repaid) and everyone can go their happy separate ways.
