I have an alternative proposal that would save BILLIONS of dollars. Instead of making people pay horrifying sums of money to pay for mandated quipment on their cars that seem to provide only a slight improvement in carbon emissions we could offer MY alternative.
Instead of adding all that crap to the cars we will just plant some trees... the same effect is achieved! Reduced CO2!!!! YAY!
Trees are basically FREE!

It's not an eloquent at all, it's simplistic. People need to defecate or they'll die from blood poisoning; 3 days of Diarrhea will kill you <--eloquence!
However on the other side, the planting trees has merit. Someone tried to follow through on this basic concept in an easier fashion (brief story of the plan here)
