+1 for a uncensored political thread.
Do what I do on my forums and make it only accesssible by request. People will agree with a policy that says they will not call other members names or use profanity or racial slurrs and if they do they get their access removed.
People who are just regular forum members cannot see the posts or read them because they have not requested access.
The + side for my idea is that it really eliminated most of the controverisal posts from the main site because people had a real place to put that stuff.
