I had two, one was my first car a 72 Mustang I bought in 84 when I got out of HS. It had a 302 v-8 . . actually a v-7
, found out after changed the plugs the first time it had one dead cylinder, it could go through snow like crazy but started costing a (blank) load of money: 1)timing chain went, 2)water pump, then the transmission, along with the body. Started to do the body work on it and found out why it was so good in snow, the fenders were pack full of sand so at one time it had to of been under water.
Number 2 was a new 93 Dakota, shoulda got frequant flyer miles for as much as it was on the lift, truck went through seals an gaskets like they were going out of style, had to replace the rear diff cause the gears weren't lined up right, replaced the inside carpet twice due to water leakes, luckly all covered under warranty which seriously PO'd the dealer
But I should say neither vehicle was abused by me, just my luck? to get them
