I've read this story a few times.
Remember when GM's '70s/'80s pickup trucks had saddlebag gas tanks? A kid here in GA died in a flame filled explosion from being t-boned in one of those trucks. The impact ruptured one of the tanks and caused the explosion. And yet our old farm/trash truck is one of those models. I still drive it.
I also have a '67 and '68 mustang, and I will drive them as well.
How is an automaker supposed to be held responsible for the safety of a car made more than 45 years ago.
