It's referred to as the "Bandit" edition because of the movies but the people who are big into these cars refer to them by their RPO codes, Y82 is the RPO code you will be looking for.
Please note that there is a difference between the Black and Gold edition and the "Bandit" edition.
The Black and Gold edition is actually a pretty rare car, more rare then the "Bandit" edition anyway. It came out late '78 and lasted through '79 and has the RPO code Y84. The "Bandit" edition came out in '76 and lasted till the end of '78 and was produced along side the Black and Gold edition.
