Good morning it seems that whenever I go on vacation something happens to throw a wrench into the works to cause me more stress when I am trying to relax. Last year I had a blown tire and failed wheel bearing on and axel on my trailer. I have also had back spasms and had my basement in my house flood in years past causing me to come home early.

This year so far its the weather we are in the Baltimore area for a few days and its in the low 100's with oppressive humidity. Last night we went to sleep and it was calm as could be. About 30 min later we hear a banging noise outside so I go out and a massive storm is coming in fast and the winds are trying to rip my awning off the trailer. My wife and I managed to get it rolled up just before the storm hit.

This morning we wake up to no power and no water in the campground as they use well water and an electric pump. So now I have no AC or water to shower and its still 100 outside and we are sweating like crazy in the trailer. I would go outside and look for shade but there are hundreds of these large flying insects all over the place outside. I dont know for sure want they are but I don't think they sting maybe they are cicadas. I think maybe I should just give up and stay home next year.

Oh and there are around a million people in this area without power so I have no idea when it may actually get restored here :banghead:

Zandron, sorry about the problems you're encountering; I'm glad you're safe. I spoke to my brother who lives about 20 miles outside of DC in VA and he said last night's storms were wild.
