Hello Everyone!!!
I am sooooo happy to be here, because that means I have a Camaro!!! I picked up my ZL1 this past Monday. I used to have a 1993 Mazda MX6 and it served me well, but I was afraid that it would soon become a money pit. So, last year I started looking for a new sports car to buy. I settled on the Camaro and saw that a new model, ZL1, would be coming out this year so I said I would at least wait until this year and actually, the purchase was not supposed to happen for another year as I had some other goals to meet.
Well, I made that huge mistake of going to the dealer last Saturday - just to maybe sit in one, see how it felt and all and to check out the two reds. I was initially set on a red SS after I decided I really did not NEED the ZL1. Well, they did not have any SS coupe's, just some convertibles and this beautiful black ZL1 on the showroom floor.
We found a red SS up in PA that seemed to meet my needs but I could not help but be drawn to the ZL1. I returned Monday to make the purchase and got in about $1000 under MSRP.
I am just loving the ride!!! Glad to be here!!
