Totally agree. Not only is it sort of disrespectful to you-- it's just kinda awkward! Then again, maybe you, your family and he don't see it that way. That's definitely between you all!
If your husband is OK with it, and you're OK with it... I say a friendship is alright, but I'd tread lightly and make sure it stays just that.
