I'm a boxer and alternate a lot of power lifting, running, and interval training. I also started getting involved in cyclocross, so I'm working towards shifting to more lean body mass. I change my programs quite frequently depending on my goals.
Things like p90x and insanity are decent body-weight, multi-muscle group targeting exercises, however they don't give you what i call "useable" muscle. They can just give you that "cut" look.
A few fighters I train with ran some of these programs to manage weight and mix things up, and all of them lost about 15% to their max lifting capacity. It also didn't increase any cardiovascular conditioning.
