In Shelby's accomplishments, you forgot some:
Shelby Dakotas come to mind...another sorry example of Iacocca/Shelby collusion. Along with the Shelby Charger and Daytona, a clearly blatant abuse of the hallowed Cobra Daytona Coupe and NASCAR-inspired '69 Chargers of the same name. But hey, anything for a few buck$...
The Series1? Really?!
GT40? Made by Lola... In '66 and '67, Shelby and his very talented staff oversaw the Le Mans victories. Someone had to save Henry the Deuce from himself. Did they kill Ferrari? Only very briefly.
Le Mans races, as we speak. Ford? MIA...
