It did, but it was a combination of me being hair brained, pissed at the world, and fighting through college on a shoestring budget. Looking back, it really didn't deserve it. (Other than the axle seals that failed..
)
But the drive line, that thing was bulletproof even for a Cologne. And what really ended the "I HAET TEH EXPLODUR" was the ease at which that major axle repair was done (TWICE!) Try doing that with an IRS, costs would skyrocket. In the end the economy bit my arse, but I'll be back for a used 5th gen and you can take that to the bank.
I can't just leave that car in the dust; both have so much potential and the 'stang, halfheartedly, is going to be my first victim.
