After looking at some other related videos, he does give some good praise to the Corvette Z06. Also, the piece on the history of the Mustang is very respectful and positive towards the car. But then he does things like pick a 1989 Lincoln and sees if it can hold any water (the answer is no). I think Clarkson likes american cars as toys, but would never want to be seen driving one without being paid to do so.
