1. the track is dusty... that limits the Mustang's ability to grip the track.

2. contrary to what Clarkson says, that is a 4.0L V6 Mustang... had it been a GT, it WOULD have beaten the horse... I think we all know that a Civic Si is faster than a V6 Mustang.

3. this test is so blatantly ant-American car that its silly to even talk about

its just sad that Top Gear feels so poorly about the Mustang... they pretend that this is the V8 Mustang when it isn't... when they tested the GT500, they dynoed it and then were all butt hurt about the fact that it dynoed less than 500rwhp (it dynoed 465rwhp, which, if you add in the 15%, is over 500hp at the crank)... and then they dynoed a '68 390 powered GT Mustang and pretended like the "390" was about the horsepower, not the size of the engine... :wtf: I think they're just mad that all of the British motor companies are foreign owned... if they had been better at making cars, they'd still be British independent companies
well put, and at the time of that video the mustang was the best... because the challenger wasn't available for testing and the camaro still isn't
